Template Gallery

The Heritage Makers Template Gallery provides hundreds of pre-designed projects for you to use. As you begin your project, you are welcome to either start from scratch with a blank page, or speed up the process by using one of our templates. Please note that templates cannot be added to a current project.

All templates in the Template Gallery are free to use. You will however, need a Premier membership to access some templates as they contain Premier artwork. If a Premier membership is needed, you will be notificed when you select the template.

To use a template:
  1. Choose a template and click "Get This Template."
  2. Choose whether you will start your project now or continue shopping for more templates to add to your Studio. If you continue shopping, you ccan find the template later under the "My Templates" section of your Studio.
  3. Follow the prompts to begin working on your project.
It's that simple!

To find the perfect template in the gallery, you can use the search tools provided at the top and bottom of the page.

Search by Keyword: You can type a keyword in to the search field and click search to find projects that contain that keyword in the project details.

Search by Category: If you know the general theme of the project you'd like to create, you can select a category from this menu to see all templates that fit with that theme.

Show: If you're looking for a specific size or type of project, select that project type from the drop down menu. You can select either a general type (storybooks, cards, etc.) or a specific size of project.

Sort by: You can choose to have your search results sorted by date, alphabetically, or by popularity.

Membership: If you are only interested in projects that can be completed with a Basic membership, select Basic from the Membership drop down. Premier members can use both basic and Premier templates.

Once you've set all the search options you wish to use, click Search to see the results.

If there are multiple pages of search results, you can use the navigation links to the right of the Search button to move between pages. If you'd like to try a new search, adjust some of your search criteria and click Search again.

To view a larger image of a template, click on "preview." This will open the project browse.





Once you've found the template you would like to use, you can click on "details" to view the detailed description and keywords and to add it to your My Templates folder. You can start a project immediately, or save it in your My Templates folder for another day. To start the project immediately using a template, check any boxes necessary, and click "get this template." If you would like to keep browsing in the Template Gallery, check any boxes necessary and click "get & keep browsing."



Q: Do I need a Premier membership to use the templates in the gallery?
A: No. While many of the templates require a Premier membership, there are several that do not. To find the templates available with a Basic membership, select Basic from the Membership dropdown in the search area and click Search.

Q: Can I use just one page out of a template in my own project?
A: No, there is not currently a way to copy individual pages from one project to another.
