How do I add or edit spine text on a book?

Spine text is created using a regular text box in the Studio Editor and placing it in the spine space of the Front Cover page. When looking at the front cover of your project, you'll see a thin red line at the left side of the page that shows where the spine is, with the words BOOK SPINE in the center. Neither the red line nor the words BOOK SPINE will actually print on your book; they are there only to show you which part of your design will wrap around to the spine.

1. Open the Text Boxes tab of the Content Explorer and drag a Title text box anywhere on your page.

2. Double-click to type your title in to the text box.

3. Rotate the text box to 90 degrees, and then drag it to the space between the red line and the edge of the page. Position it directly over the words BOOK SPINE if you want it to be centered.

To edit the spine text from a template, you can simply double-click in the text box and type in your own title.
