GETTING STARTED
1. Sign up as an independent consultant and read the Template Design Requirements and Creative Center Terms and Conditions documents.
2. Email your intent to design to templates@heritagemakers.com by July 30th. Include your name, consultant ID, the templates you plan to design, whether you will be using Premier art or other personally owned art, and the date by which you will submit your templates. All templates must be submitted by August 20th.
3. Start designing. Use your Studio account to build projects and submit them by emailing a Project View to templates@heritagemakers.com. Your project will be reviewed and you will be notified if it is accepted. Note: All submitted projects are subject to design requirements and terms and conditions of the creative center.
4. Submit your designs by August 20th. If your designs are selected for HM’s highest category, you will be eligible for a one-time cash or credit award.
Signing up as an independent consultant
Designers may choose to signup with one of the following startup kit packages:
Designer Kit
Available only for consultants who signup between July 17th and August 17th. This kit contains the essentials to start designing templates. Note: this is an e-kit; no packages are shipped with the purchase of this kit. Not available for online signup. Contact customer service to signup.

- 1 year independent consultantship
- Electronic Consultant Manual (PDF)
- Personal Consultant Website
- Virtual Office online business center
- 3 months Studio Premier (renewing)
- One 8x8 Storybook credit

Business Kit
Contains the basics for beginning an HM consultantship including product samples, enough supplies to hold one workshop, training materials, and a month of Studio Premier. Available for online signup.
